149 Karori Road We've created a beautiful spot where you can enjoy a Sweet treat any day of the week, pick-up some cupcakes for a party or meeting (or just because!), or meet a friend for a catch-up over the best cake and coffee in Wellington. And don't forget to try our famous "Donut Friday" and "Milkshake of the Month"! We bake our cakes and cupcakes for the shop fresh every morning, so our flavours change daily. Any treats left at the end of the day are re-homed by the fantastic charity Bellyful, who provide meals for families struggling with newborns or illness. We've joined forces with some of Wellington and New Zealand's best beverage brands to bring you to loveliest drinks possible to accompany your Sweet treats - including Coffee Supreme, Karma Cola, Harney & Sons tea and decadent hot chocolates made with Whittaker's Chocolate. We also have beautiful flower posies for sale daily, created especially for our customers by the talented Of Noble Nature. Opening hours: Tues - Sat, 8.30am - 4.30pm Sun, 10am - 4.30pm |
CUBA - Cakes & Shakes
268 Cuba Street Our 'Cakes & Shakes' shop at 268 Cuba Street is packed full of delicious cakes and treats, Coffee Supreme, and epic design-your-own milkshakes. The cabinet is freshly stocked every morning with delicious treats made in our Karori based kitchen - cakes, slices, cookies, brownies and - yes - even Donut Friday! We've also created a crazy unique 'design-your-own' shake option, where you can combine your fave flavours, sauces and mix-ins to magic up your dream milkshake. There are literally 100s and 1000s of possible combinations! What are you waiting for?! Any treats left at the end of the day are re-homed by the fantastic The Freestore, a non-profit organisation that redistributes surplus food to folk who determine they are in need of it. Our newest cake shop is a fast and fun takeaway spot - get ready for a unique 'Cakes & Shakes' experience! Opening hours: Tues - Fri, 9am - 5pm Sat - Sun - 10am - 5pm |
Important notes:
- We don't have any whole cakes to buy in the cake shops on a daily basis, as we only bake our whole cakes to order. If you'd like a whole cake for an occasion, we'd love to help - but this needs to be ordered in advance via our website here.
- We have fab cupcake gift-box specials in the shop, which are perfect if you need some treats on the spot or for an emergency.
- We only take simple cake and cupcake orders in-person in our KARORI shop only (i.e. Only Naked cakes, Classic Cakes, Classic Cupcakes and Lucky Dip Cupcakes) - anything that involves personalisation needs to be ordered via our website. We can't take any orders in our Cuba Street shop.
