PRIVATE PARTY CLASSES

At our gorgeous wee cake shop in Marsden Village, Karori, we host our fun, messy and delicious “Cupcake Fun” cupcake decorating classes for private groups and parties.

Our exclusive “Sweet Cupcake Fun” Class gives you:
  • A fun, interactive and action-packed 1 - 1.5 hour cupcake decorating class, led personally by one of our fab talented Sweet Bakery kitchen team.
  • Quick tips on baking cupcakes, and making buttercream icing at home (as appropriate for the age and level of the group).
  • Lessons on how to pipe cupcakes professionally in the “Sweet” style, with a piping bag, and variety of different nozzle styles. We adjust how technical the lesson is for the type of group, age and experience. Adults are welcome too!
  • Time to decorate your own six cupcakes, and top with a variety of creative and yummy toppings and sprinkles.
  • Six hand-decorated cupcakes each to take home.
  • All the gear (cupcakes, icing, piping bags, nozzles, toppings and aprons) you'll need are provided. Best of all - we do the cleaning!
  • Sweet-treats to enjoy throughout the class, including plates, napkins and utensils.
  • A Six Barrel soda drink each.
  • Fun prizes for the most creative designs and flavours.
  • Optional extra (+$50) - A Sweet Bakery “Classic Cake” or “Naked Cake”, and birthday candles (one slice per person to eat on site).

Cost: $45 per person, Minimum total spend of $270. Incl. GST.

Notes:
  • Classes are suitable for both children over 10 years and adults of all ages. No previous experience is required - just a great attitude and a big smile! 
  • Minimum group size is 6 participants (or $270 total spend if less), maximum group size 10.
  • Bookings are subject to availability. Classes are held at our operational cake shop, so times are only available "after hours" (usually Tues-Sun after 5pm, or anytime on Mon). Enquire now to check your date.
