Our order process for Personalised Cakes and Cupcakes, and Speciality Cakes, is unique and personal to you (just like our cakes!).
Arranging your order is predominately done via email - email works best, as we're always hopping up and down making cakes or serving our lovely customers, so we can be hard to pin down in person or on the phone.

Here's what you can expect to happen next...
- You send your enquiry via our website.
- We reply. You should get a reply within approx. 24 hours during office hours (Tuesday - Saturday, note: our office is closed on Sunday - Monday). If you don't hear, please send a follow-up to orders@sweetbakery.co.nz in case we've had a technical mishap. The end of the week (especially Friday) is very busy for us in the kitchen, so you might not hear back as quickly as usual - please be patient at busy times! We also sometimes close for periods like Christmas, but this will be noted on our website.
- We confirm details. We'll reply via email to confirm we can help, answer any questions and confirm pricing. Note we ask for at least 2 working days notice (often more during busy times, especially for Saturday orders), but we do our best to help sooner if we can.
- We send an 'Order Confirmation'. Once the details are sorted and you've confirmed you want to book in, we'll send an 'Order Confirmation' to get your order booked in. It's only at this stage that your order is confirmed and in our order book. If you leave it too long before confirming, we might get booked up in the interim as we don't hold spots open for enquiries - so be prepared we might not be able to help if that happens.
- You arrange payment. The details for this will be on your Order Confirmation. We take payment via bank transfer, or credit card by request with a small proportionate fee. We take payment in advance, and you can't pay on pick-up or in either of our cake shops (sorry!).
- You get ready for deliciousness! Pick-up your order as arranged (note the time and address on your Order Confirmation) or await your delicious delivery! Most deliveries are between approx. 10am - 12noon unless a specific deadline has been arranged and is noted on your Confirmation.
